COACH TRIP TO EYE AND WINGFIELD COLLEGE

Please note that the tour of the College involves climbing stairs.
£20.00, comprising coach fare and entrance to Wingfield College with afternoon tea and home made cake in the college garden.
Coach leaves Martham Green Bus Stop at 8.30 a.m.
The morning will be spent in the historic small town of Eye. A self-guided tour leaflet will be provided. You might wish to begin with a visit to the magnificent Parish Church where coffee may be provided, depending on the availability of volunteer helpers.
Lunch should be taken in Eye. There is a small number of food outlets in the town, or you may prefer to bring a packed lunch. Return to the coach by 1.30 prompt(!).
In the afternoon, our tour will begin with a talk at 2.00 p.m. in Wingfield Church by the owner of Wingfield College, which is the large house next door. At the College we will be guided round in two groups of twenty. We will also be able to wander in the four acre garden with fish ponds and topiary and to enjoy our tea and cake.
Depart at 5.00 p.m. and return to Martham by about 6.00 p.m.
Until Tuesday 31st March preference will be given to History Group members and partners. Booking will then be open to the public.
